Meet Our Staff

Dr. Paul Gutacker
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Paul holds the Ph.D. in History (Baylor University) and a M.A. in Theological Studies and Th.M. in History of Christianity (Regent College). He has written several books, including The Old Faith in a New Nation: American Protestants and the Christian Past (Oxford University Press, 2023) and Practicing Life Together: A Common Rule for Christian Growth (Moody Publishers, 2025). Paul, Paige, and their four children enjoy living in Waco, where they like to fish, go camping, and cheer on the Buffalo Bills.

Paige Gutacker
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Paige holds an MA in Theological Studies from Regent College, a certificate in Spiritual Direction from Truett Seminary, and a professional life coaching credential (PCC from ICF). Her interests include spiritual formation, mentoring, caregiving, technology and the soul, the spirituality of food, vocation and decision-making, Sabbath, home education, and hospitality. She particularly enjoys baking together with her enthusiastic young children.

Brooke Smith
PROJECT DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
With a background across classical music, management, pedagogy, and ministry, Brooke holds a Bachelor of Music from Baylor University and a decade of experience in organizational development. With Brazos Fellows, she is grateful to pour her gifts into a vision that she regards as life changing and fundamental to a shared life in Christ. In a hopeless pursuit of boredom, Brooke enjoys practicing her Mandarin, fiddling around with modal music, or caffeinating while staring out a window.

Anna Sundblad
PROGRAM MANAGER
Anna holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Northwestern, St. Paul and is an alum of Brazos Fellows. When she's not planning Fellows events or wrangling second graders for a local grammar school, Anna can often be found wondering how many people might fit in the living room for a game night, dreaming of her next international adventure, or reading from her collection of children's literature.

Fr. Andrew Hollinger
CHAPLAIN
Fr. Andrew Hollinger was born and raised in Central Texas. He first started serving the church in music ministry before attending Baylor University. There he discerned a call to the priesthood, and attended Nashotah House Theological Seminary. His interests include Anglican Sacramental Social Ethics, the interplay between art and theological convictions, rose gardening, bouldering, making sacred music accessible, and taking liturgy seriously.
