Christ Church Waco (ACNA) had its beginnings around 2009. After several years of prayer, worship, and gathering a community, we officially launched weekly Sunday morning services in August 2015 with about 75 regular attendees. Since that time, Sunday attendance has grown to 200+, the Lord has blessed us with a historic downtown church building, and we have helped pioneer patterns of Christian Catechesis that Anglican congregations across the country borrow from. We also helped launch Brazos Fellows!
Worship at Christ Church focuses on God through Scripture and Sacraments, with robust congregational singing, beautiful liturgy, and opportunities for everyone to participate, including small children. In addition to Catechesis, we also place a high value on Spiritual Direction and the spiritual disciplines. We want to see everyone grow to maturity in the love of the Lord Jesus and the fellowship of His Body.
Note: No one is required to be Anglican to apply for or join Brazos Fellows. However, participation in the life of this church and her spiritual disciplines is an essential component of the fellowship for the nine months you are with us. Read about what Anglicans believe.
