Prayer: Every weekday we'll gather at 7:30 to pray the Daily Morning Office from the Book of Common Prayer (ACNA 2019).
Course of Study: On Tuesdays and Thursdays, following a short break, fellows will jump into the Course of Study from 8:30-11:30am, learning about the richness of the Christian theological tradition.
Evenings
Shared Meals: Because shared life is so important, we'll sit down to a meal together as a cohort on Monday nights from 5:30-8:30.
Prayer: You'll end each day by praying the Daily Evening Office or Compline from the Book of Common Prayer, on your own or possibly with other fellows.
Weekends
Saturdays offer a welcome opportunity. Usually, this means reading on your own or with friends. Once per month, we enjoy a special Saturday Seminar (topics include Digital Technology and the Soul, Vocation and Discernment, and more).
Sundays are days of rest, when we commit to a Sabbath practice of ceasing from work.
Retreats
Fall Retreat: Each semester Fellows go away for the weekend together for a retreat. These times are often highlights of the Fellows' year. In the fall, the retreat theme is prayer and is taught by our Chaplain and Scholar in Residence, Rev. Dr. Jonathan Kanary.
Spring Retreat: The spring retreat is a feast! We gather to discuss the Spirituality of Food... and enjoy some epic meals! The "food retreat", as it has come to be called, is taught by Assistant Director, Paige Gutacker.
Other
Reading & One-on-Ones: In other hours not earmarked for study or prayer, you'll devote significant time to reading for the Course of Study and arrange to meet one-on-one with someone from your team of mentors (including your tutor, coach, and spiritual director, each of whom you will meet with about once a month).
Part-time Employment: We encourage you to work a 15-20 hour part-time job on Monday/Wednesday/Fridays, T/Th afternoons, and/or some Saturdays.
